Terms of service

1. Agreement to these terms

By publishing a page through PublishPage, creating an account, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using PublishPage through an AI agent acting on your behalf, you are responsible for what that agent publishes, and the agent's use of the service counts as your use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. What PublishPage is

PublishPage hosts single, self-contained HTML pages and serves each one publicly at its own web address. Pages are typically published by an AI agent connected to the service. How long a page stays online depends on your tier: anonymous pages stay live for 1 hour, pages on a free account stay live for 24 hours, and pages on a paid plan stay online for as long as the subscription is active.

3. Your account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials and edit tokens secure. Anything published or changed through your account, your tokens, or an agent you have authorized is treated as done by you. You may revoke an agent's access at any time from your dashboard.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you publish. By publishing, you grant PublishPage a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, copy, cache, and serve your content to the public, which is what hosting a page requires. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you publish, and published pages are visible to anyone who has the URL.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use PublishPage to publish or distribute content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that harms others. This includes malware, phishing or credential-harvesting pages, deceptive impersonation, harassment, sexually exploitative material, and spam. You also may not attempt to disrupt the service, probe its infrastructure, or evade its rate limits. We may remove content, take pages offline, or suspend accounts that violate this section, without prior notice.

6. Page lifecycle and deletion

When a free page's live window ends, the page stops being served but is not immediately deleted. Anonymous pages remain recoverable for 3 days and free-account pages for 7 days; after that they are permanently deleted. If a paid subscription lapses, your pages continue to be served for a 14-day grace period before entering the same expiry process. Deleting a page yourself removes it permanently.

7. Free pages carry a badge

Pages on free tiers are served with a small “Published with PublishPage” badge. The badge is added when the page is served; the HTML you publish is stored unmodified. Pages on a paid plan are served without the badge.

8. Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are billed annually and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Prices may change; we will notify you before a change affects your renewal.

9. Service changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We work to keep PublishPage available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and free tiers in particular are provided with no availability commitment.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Content on published pages belongs to the people who published it; we do not review or endorse it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PublishPage will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $50 if you have paid nothing.

12. Termination

You can stop using PublishPage at any time and delete your pages and account from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses needed to wind down serving, disclaimers, and liability limits — survive it.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
